Stroke! My Ego
Every now and again, you'll read a post that refers to my "book." Entitled "Stroke! My Ego," it's a bit of creative non-fiction about the stroke I had at 22, and the adventures I've had while recovering from it. In September 2007, I quit my job in PR to focus on the book.
On writing
I have a degree in journalism but don't use it anymore because I'd rather write a 3000 word essay describing what it feels like to have a seizure or eat fruit in a Bangkok market. In my writing, as in my life, I crave freedom, experimentation, vivid expression. You'll find a bold combination of each within these posts, but keep in mind, it's all just rambling along.

Life is an adventure. And I'm happiest when I'm someplace else, living it. To know this is to know me... and I've only just realized it myself.
